stood outside the church waiting on her soon to be husband Ryan who was already 30 minutes late.
"He's not coming, he doesn’t want to marry me" said worried.
"Of course he wants to marry you, babe. You mean everything to him, anyone would be able to tell you that" said trying to calm her down a little bit, not that it was working.
Just as was about to answer, she saw , , and approaching her. said nothing, just ran to them shouting "Where's Ryan?" The four lads just looked at each other not knowing what to do when nodded, meaning that he would tell her.
" babe, can we go inside?" said putting his hand on her waist. just followed repeating "Where's Ryan? We are getting married today, where is he?". didn’t know how to tell her, so he just sat down and pulled down beside him gently.
"Hurry up, , tell me where he is... He doesn’t want to marry me, does he? Please, tell me where he is, please" started to babble with tears starting to form in her eyes "He doesn’t love me anymore, does he, ? Please just tell me". didn’t really know how to tell one of his best friends that her fiancé did love her but sadly he wasn’t able to marry her as he had sadly passed away.
" babe, look at me" said taking hold of her hand and putting them on his legs. didn’t know what to do so just done as said.
"Don't you say that Ryan doesn't love you, he's madly in love with you. All he ever talks about is you" started not knowing how to tell her that he was dead.
"Then why isn’t he here then, if he loves me like you say... Please tell me, , so I can go and find him and we can talk about this" started to babble again not noticing the small tears forming in ’s eyes.
" babe, Ryan isn’t her because he's..." was about to say the dreaded words when interrupted him.
"He's what, ? Please tell me, I need to know" said sitting down beside him again.
"He’s... He’s gone, babe, am so sorry" said taking hold of her hand again for support.
", now please stop your stupid games and tell me where he is! Is he waiting on me just now at the altar?" said slightly smiling but still a little worried.
"No, babe, this isn’t one of our stupid games, I wish it was. He’s gone, babe. He isn’t coming back... He's... he's dead, babe, am so sorry." just looked at him in horror not knowing what to think or do.
"He's not, , he cant' be, we are getting married today, he's just playing games with us" stopped when she saw the serious look on ’s face. got up and started to walk around the cold room in the church shaking a little. just looked at her not knowing what to do. This was his best friend's wedding day, this was meant to be the best day of her life. Instead it was the worst. noticed her shaking and crying her poor wee heart out so he got up and took his suit jacket off and wrapped it around her shoulders them pulled her into a hug. just let the tears fall still not believing that the man she loved so much was gone. All wanted to do was let his tears fall too but he had to stay strong for the sake of . After a short silence, broke from 's tight embrace and looked through her teary eyes at him.
"I think I should go and tell everyone what’s happened" said trying to be strong but failing badly
"You don’t have to do that, babe, I will get one of the lads to do it, you need to go home and get some rest" answered taking hold of again. After about another half an hour of tears, decided that he would take home and let her get some needed rest.
"Come on, babe, I am gonna take you back to my house, you need some sleep"
"I can't go out there, I can't face it, , I am sorry" replied breaking down again, not that she had stopped crying.
"I know, it's okay, babe, you don’t have to be sorry. I am gonna phone to make sure that everyone is gone and ask him if he can take us back to mine" said holding her again, letting her tears fall as he got out his phone. He really needed to get out of the church and back to his place so that she could be a bit more relaxed.
On the way home not much was said, all did was look out the window crying her heart out. didn’t know what to do but just took her hand, he hated seeing like this, she didn’t deserve this, it was all thought. When they arrived at ’s, he got out the car, said thanks to and that he would phone him soon, then he went round to the other side and got out. She wouldn’t move so picked her up and carried her into his house. The rest of the day went by with not a lot of talking but a lot of tears. It was about midnight when woke up on the sofa to find on the other side of the sofa looking at her with teary eyes.
"Are you okay, babe, do you need anything?" it was all managed to say. didn’t say anything, all she did was move to the same side of the sofa and put her head on ’s chest.
"I'm sorry, , I’m really sorry" she cried
"You have nothing to be sorry about, babe" replied rubbing his hand up and down her arm and gently kissed the top of her head.

The next day

was still asleep on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around her and was on the phone to .
: "How is she?" he asked knowing what the answer would be.
: Not good, I wish I could just take the hurt and pain for her, I hate seeing her like this
: I know, mate, we all do. Is there anything that we can get for you two?
: I don’t think so, I have a few of ’s clothes here from the last time she stayed.
: Alright, mate, call me later
When had hung up the phone and walked into the living room, was sitting up on the sofa still in her wedding dress. She didn’t want to take it off.
“Babe, don’t you think you should take the dress off now and put something a little more comfortable on? You have some clothes here that you could wear if you want me to get them for you” said as he placed his hand on her shoulder for support.
“I can't, , it makes me feel close to him in some kind of way, I don’t want to forget about him and by taking this off I feel that I will be forgetting that he ever existed. I don’t want that, , I’m sorry, I just miss him. I can't live without him, I need him so much, ” cried
“Aww babe, I know you don’t want to forget about him, you never will forget him, I never will either, but, babe, you have to take the dress off. I doesn’t mean that you will be forgetting him by doing that, you always will remember him and you can live without him. You just think that you can’t and I’m here for you, we all are and when you need me I will be here day or night, 24/7.” said fighting back the tears. He hated seeing like this, all he wanted to do was make her feel better.
“I just want to hold him, tell him I love him, I need him so much” it was all she managed to say through the tears.
“Aww hunny, come here” said kneeling in front of her and pulling her down for a hug.
“I want to hear him say he loves me again, I miss his voice. Did he love me, ?”
“Of course he loved you, babe. All he ever did was tell people how much he loved you, he was always talking about you” said slightly smiling at the memories. This just followed by silence when suddenly got up.
“I think I should take the dress off now, . Can you get me the clothes you are taking about, please?” said getting up and looking out of the window.
“Sure, babe, come on up the stairs and I will get you them” said taking hold of her hand and walking up the stairs.
A few minutes later came out of the spare room and into his room to see sitting on the bed staring into space
“Babe, I cant find them but you can put these on if you want” said handing her a pair of baggy tracksuit trousers and a t-shirt.
“Thank you, ” she answered getting up to go to the bathroom to get changed.
“I will wait here for you, babe” said as she walked passed.
When came out of the bathroom couldn’t help but notice how thin she was “She must have starved herself to get into that dress then she wasn’t able to walk down the altar and meet Ryan and the bottom aww how she must be hurting” he thought to himself. just came in and sat on the bed again holding the dress so tight as if her life depended on it. just looked at her for a few minutes thinking how this happened to her, she wouldn’t hurt anyone, all she wanted was to marry Ryan and have a family.
“Babe, do you want something to eat?” said breaking the silence.
“No, thanks, . I’m alright” she answered not even looking at him.
“Babe, you got to eat something to keep your strength up” said walking closer to here.
“, Ryan was my strength. I need him not some bit of toast or something, all I want is Ryan. Is that too much to ask?” snapped through the tears.
“Babe, if I could bring Ryan back you know I would. I would do anything to see that smile back on your face but you know deep down that nothing can bring him back but he always will be here in our hearts, you never will forget him. But, babe, you got to eat, why don’t you come down the stairs and I will make you some toast with some orange juice?” said looking at her with pleading eyes.
“Okay but only toast, I am honestly not hungry” answered getting up when she looked at .
“Where can I put the dress?” she asked
“Do you want to put it in the wardrobe? I will get you a hanger for it” replied looking down at her.
“, I don’t want to lock it away yet, can I put it on the bed in the spare room?” she asked as tears fell from her face.
“Of course you can, babe, come and we’ll do that just now” said putting his arm over her shoulder and pulling her head down to his chest as they walked to the spare room. gently lay it down on the bed and turned around and walked out of the room and broke down on the stairs. sat down on the stair beside her and held her close.
“Why don’t we go down the stairs and I’ll make you some toast and then you can maybe get some sleep?” suggested. didn’t say anything just looked at then got up and walked down the stairs.

When they where in the kitchen, just sat at the table staring at her engagement ring. couldn’t look at his friend in such a state, she was only 23 and been through so much in her life but never had he seen her this bad but it was to be expected after all she just lost her fiancé on her wedding day.
“” suddenly said.
“Yeah hun, what’s wrong?” he answered
“He didn’t love me, , because if he did he would have let me marry him first, he would have let me tell everyone in the church how much I loved him and how I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and him the same. He didn’t want to tell them that he loved me, he hated me, , but I love him” she said not crying as much but she was looking for reassurance from that he did love her.
“Babe, don’t you ever say that! Of course he loved you, he already told everyone how much he loved you and everyone could tell he just wasn’t strong enough to wait till you where married, babe. As for you loving him that was obvious I had never seen you so happy until you met him, everyone knew you loved him” said wrapping his arms around her from behind so she could rest her head on his shoulders. After a few minutes of sitting like this moved to get the toast.
“Now, babe, you eat this and drink this and then you can go and get some rest” he said smiling at her and sitting down on the sat at the other side of the table.
“What are you eating?” questioned him as he sat down with nothing to eat.
“I’m not hungry, babe, I had something to eat this morning when you were sleeping” said letting her eat the toast. After she had finished her toast and orange juice looked at her
“Do you want to go and get some sleep? It will do you good” he said
“ I think I will if that’s okay” she answered
“Come on then” said taking her hand and walking her upstairs and walking into his room “You can sleep in here, this is one of the best beds in the house” he said with a smile on his face, hoping this would make her smile just a little, all he wanted was to see that smile again.
“Thank you, ” she said with the smallest of smiles on her face
“if you need anything I will be in the living room, I’m going nowhere” he said and walked out to let her get some rest.

About an hour later was lying on the sofa watching the TV, well, not really watching the telly, just staring at it thinking how was going to cope, he just wanted to make the pain go away. Just as he was about to go a check on the door opend and stood on the other side with . just smiled at them
“Come in” said opening the door more.
“Are you okay, ?” said giving him a hug
“Yeah , I’m fine, just wish was” it was all he could say
“Where is she?” said walking into the living room
“She's sleeping, she didn’t get much sleep last night” said sitting down on the sofa next to .
“She must be going through hell, all she ever wanted was to marry Ryan, have kids grow old and have grandchildren” said fighting back the tears in her eyes.
“ , what is going on with the funeral? Have you spoken to her about it yet? What does she want?” asked as they had to organize something
“I haven’t even asked her about it, , she cant cope with it” said thinking about how she would get through the funeral.
“We will do it if you want” said trying to make things easier for them
“Thanks, mate, I appreciate it” said before looking at “ , do you think you could get something to wear? I have given her trousers and a t-shirt but that wont last long, she’s so thin, she looks so weak” said looking at her
“No problem, , I already brought her some stuff, not a lot but enough” She replied showing a bag. just smiled in reply.
Later that night went up to check on to make sure she was okay, thankfully she was. She looked so peaceful as if nothing was wrong but there was a lot for pain and hurt inside. got into the bed beside her and held her in his arms, knew that this made feel safe, all he really wanted to do was take the pain away from her but he knew he couldn’t.

Chapter 02

knelt down at the grave side as she dropped the single red rose down. Everyone at this point had started to walk away and let be on her own, however stayed a few step’s back to make sure she was alright.
“Ryan, I love you so much, please don’t leave me. I can’t cope on my own, we were meant to be getting married, starting a new life together, just us. But you have left me now, what am I meant to do? I need you so much, I just want to hear your voice, please come back, I need you here, I need you. Why have you left me? Come back, I love you, I can't live without you, I need you” said tearing at the grass round about her. This was breaking ’s heart, he couldn’t watch any longer so he walked over to her and gently put his hand around her and lifted her up “I need him, ” she turned around and cried into ’s chest.

At ’s house

Ryan’s parents never got on with so they made him choose who he wanted to be with so when Ryan choose his parents shut him out of their lives.
“Are they here?” it was all said through the tears. knew right away who she was talking about, he hated them for they don’t liking her. didn’t want them at his house as much as but it was their son.“Yeah babe, but you don’t have to see them and if they start anything they will get kicked out” said reassuringly. just smiled a small smile “Thanks”.
They where inside for about one hour, she didn’t really want to be there anymore, she wanted to get away from it all so she went to tell that she was gonna go and get some sleep. On the way upstairs walked into Ryan’s father.
“You killed my son, if it wasn’t for you he would still be here just now” didn’t say anything, she was just trying not to cry. “You didn’t even love him”
“I did love him, I still do” shouted. could hear this along with the others so he ran out to see if she was okay when he saw sitting on the step, tears rolling down her face and Ryan’s father towering over her. This was enough for so he ran up to him and pulled him away from her.
“Why don’t you pick on someone your own size, can’t you see that she is upset?!” shouted getting angry.
“No, I just see a stupid murdering cow sat on that step without a care in the world” Ryan’s dad said before he got a punch in the mouth from “That’s it, I want your whole family out of here, now go!” said turning around to “Make sure they leave, will you?” nodded.

When got upstairs he found curled up in a ball in the corner for his room hysterically crying. The scene in front of just broke his heart.
“Aww babe, come here you'r okay now” he said marching straight over to her and wrapping his arms around her holding her tightly.
“, I am not a murderer, I never killed Ryan” she cried holding onto for dear life.
“I know you never did that, babe, they are gone now, you wont need to see them again”
“, I’m so sorry for everything, I am just causing trouble here, I think I should go” she said coldly.
“No, you're not, you're staying here. I am not letting you go anywhere but we will be going somewhere, our tour starts in two weeks and you're coming with me” said looking into her eyes. just looked at him with a shocked look on her face.
“I can’t do that, , that’s when you and the lads go off and have fun, you don’t need me there spoiling your fun on the road” she said staring at him.
“But I won’t have fun without you and you wont spoil nothing. You’re coming, babe” said taking hold of her hands and placing her on the bed. just smiled which made smile “That’s better babe, it’s good to see that smile on you face”
“I still miss him though” she answered looking at “Where are you going?” she asked.
“Gonna run you a nice warm bath and get you some clean jammies that got you.”
“You don’t have to, ” she said getting up “I can do it myself”
saw her getting up and pushed her on the bed lightly “No, you will not, you will relax” he said firmly.
A while later after had her bath and they where settled, looked down at her sleeping on his chest “Sweetheart, it’s gonna get better, I promise you” He said softly kissing her head. Soon after that had fallen asleep.

Chapter 03

The tour was just about to start in about a week and a half and the lads were so excited. They loved touring, seeing all them fans some old and some new was an amazing feeling for them. knew that didn’t really want to go but he didn’t want to leave her alone. So he decided to talk to her about it and see how she felt.
“Why don’t you want to go, babe? You can tell me the truth, you know you can” he said looking into her eyes, he knew something was wrong but couldn’t put his finger on it.
“I’m... I’m pregnant” she said quietly “I don’t know what to do, , please tell me what to do, I cant have it, am scared” she added. couldn’t believe what he was hearing just as she was getting her life back on track something like this happens. It was a good thing that she was blessed with a child but knew she couldn’t cope, she was never a strong person.
“Babe, you do what you feel, it's the best option, no one can tell you what to do” said giving her a hug.
“People will talk about me no matter what I do, . If I have an abortion I couldn’t live with myself, everyone will hate me, I can‘t have it, , I just cant” she said in a rush.
“No, babe, no one will. They will understand what you went through and if you want to have an abortion I will stand by you, if it’s what you want and I understand why you want to have it, babe, and I don’t hate you” said holding her tighter against him “Thanks, ” she cried

4 days later

When was 110% sure this was what wanted he booked her into a private clinic and went with her to have the abortion. didn’t really say much that day. just left her, he didn’t want to push her into talking, she would talk in her own time. Deep down didn’t want to have an abortion but she thought it was for the best.

The rest of the week went by and they where getting ready to set off on tour. was starting to see smile more but could still see the hurt and guilt in her eyes. He knew that she had regretted having the apportion and she felt so guilty.

Chapter 04

“Sweetheart, do you want to go out to dinner just the two of us?” he asked looking into her gorgeous eyes.
“Not really, babe” she smiled looking out at the weather, it was pouring down.
“Why not, sweetie?” he asked her with a smile
“Well, look at the weather and plus girly time” she said looking at feeling embarrassed at what she said. She didn’t know why she was embarrassed, she had known him all her life and told him everything.
“Ahh alright. Well, I suppose you want me to go get you a big bar of chocolate and your fave DVD then I shall come back and we’ll watch it” he smiled standing up “Ohh and why were you embarrassed about saying that, I know you get it, it’s only natural, babe, no need to be embarrassed” said grinning. just looked up at him smiling
“I know that, , but there are some things a girl likes to keep private. Ohh and will you hurry up with that chocolate and the DVD” she smiled looking at him. just laughed, he loved seeing happy again even though she still missed Ryan. She was moving on and was just glad to see her happy again.
“Alright, bossy, I will if you would shut up” he smiled and shut the door.

About 15 minutes later returned to the hotel room. When walked in he found lying on the sofa so he gently lifted her head and put it on his lap, then started to stroke her head. About an hour later woke up to find ’s eyes looking into her’s, she just smiled that gorgeous smile which loved.
“AAre you okay, sweetheart?” asked.
“Yep just wondering where that chocolate and the DVD went” she smiled looking around.
“Ahh we have a slight problem” he grinned “ I couldn’t get the DVD so I thought that maybe we could watch the music channel or see if there is a film on but I did get you chocolate” he smiled waving it around. was just smiling at the fact that hadn’t changed, he was always trying to make her smile and was always doing nice things for her
“But first you have to wait here while I go and run you a nice hot bubble bath” he smiled getting up.
“How can I not love you, babe?” she said. just laughed at this comment and walked into the bathroom to run her bath.

About one hour later came out the bathroom with one of Ryan’s old jumpers on and a pair of jogging trousers.
“Sexy” whistled at her from the sofa. She just smiled and sat down beside him.
“Well, where’s that chocolate?” she grinned leaning over the side of the couch to get a blanket then curled up next to wrapping the blanket around them.
“Here it is, hunny” he replied wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
“So, , seen as though you didn’t bring a DVD what do you want to watch on this boring TV?” she smiled snuggling up more. just smiled at this, she always done that when she was tired.
“Well, I don’t really know what there is on” he said, just laughed.
“, stop being so stupid you know that the telly is rubbish, that’s why I asked you to get a DVD but silly didn’t listen” she said grinning.
“Babe, I told you that I couldn’t get the one you wanted so I thought I would leave it, I am sorry” he smiled with puppy dog eyes.
“Aww baby, I forgive you just this once don’t go making a habit of it though” she said trying to sound serious.
“Babe, serious don’t suit you when you look like that” smiled looking at her.
“What do you mean looking like that?” said trying to look hurt
“Aww nothing, babe, you look gorgeous” He said as he kissed her on the head.
“Thank you” she laughed and sank into ’s chest more. just smiled and wrapped his arms around her he was just glad that was smiling again, he had missed her smile.

It was two in the morning when woke up with the wind blowing through the window.
“Stupid window” she cursed as she got up to close the window only to find that it was jammed and she couldn’t close it. This was all she needed, she didn’t want to wake up. She didn’t have to wake him up after all as he had heard her cursing the window.
“Now now, babe, stop moaning and go back to sleep” he said looking at her.
“I can’t, , it’s too cold and the window won’t shut, I just want the window to shut, it’s cold” she cried. just got up and with a little bit of force he closed the window.
“Aww babe, come here, what’s wrong” he said hugging her shaking body.
“Nothing, , it just felt so good today being back to the way things were but still being able to think about Ryan, so thank you, ”
“Aww babe, that’s okay as long as you’re happy” was all could say.
“Can I get back to the sofa to sleep?” she smiled at and they went back to the sofa where they fell asleep.

The next morning woke up with fast asleep on his chest. So he gently moved himself then placed ’s head on the hotel sofa then set off to make some breakfast in bed. When had finished making the breakfast he set off to wake up. But it was a bit late, she was already up and hadn’t seen standing beside her at the living room door. loved watching wake up, she always looked beautiful the way her hair was slightly messed up, the way she looked without her make up, she always looked good without make up but especially first thing in the morning. She was just a natural beauty. To she was perfect. When had finished admiring the beauty in front of him he walked in and sat on the sofa beside her and pulled her onto his chest while she ate the toast that had made for her.
“Babe, you didn’t have to make my breakfast, it should be me making yours to say thanks for everything you have done for me over the past few months, it means a lot so thank you very much” she said snuggling up to more and pulling the blanket over them to keep them warm.
“Babe, that’s what friends are for, now stop thanking me and hurry up and eat that toast, babe, we have to be at the airport soon” he smiled admiring her.
“Yes, sir, give me one hour” she laughed at him and just laughed at her.

Once , and the rest of the lads had landed at Dublin airport they said bye to the lads and decided to go for a bite to eat at a near by café. When the had finished eating they decided they would get a DVD and spend the rest of the day on the sofa.
Later that evening they both decided that they would talk a walk along the beach where the pair of them shared so many memories.
Talking and walking hand in hand they stopped at “their spot” at the side of the beach. had noticed shivering as she sat beside him so he took his jumper off and wrapped it around ’s shoulders and rubbed her arms up and down with his hands. As was turning round to say something to she was met by his gorgeous eyes and lushes lips. This caught off guard, she hadn’t noticed how gorgeous actually was. Suddenly they where sharing a passionate kiss in the sand.
“I love you, ”
“I love you too, sweetheart”
