Caught Under the Mistletoe
written by Monique

She smiled at his reply and walked in the direction of the Eye. As she got closer it seemed to grow until it towered over her when she reached its foot. Immediately images of the last time she went here, a couple of weeks earlier, came over her.
They’d been giggly, Nicky from being in a recording boot all day and she from classes she had to follow. She remembered picking Nicky up from the studio, he’d been harassed by fans as he stepped outside. Mister nice-guy as he was, he took his time to sign some items and get some pictures taken until he walked away. He’d been in such a rush to get to the cab she halted, he tripped and ended up with his face against the window. That was when her giggling had started and it never stopped during the night.
‘Wanna go out clubbing?’ Nicky suggested after they had taken a ride on the London Eye and Monique had agreed. They went to the nearest club and as soon as they’d arrived Nicky made sure to get the first round of drinks in.
‘Cheers!’ they’d shouted before downing it in one go. The drink had spilled all over her chin and onto her top which caused Nicky to double over.
‘I need another!’ she said, immediately waving to the guy behind the bar to order another drink and she downed it, this time without spilling a drop.

Christmas Spirit
written by Mandy

“Are you having an affair with her, Kian?” she bluntly asked him.
“WHAT?” he shrieked, quickly opening his eyes. He was totally unprepared for that question.
“Are you having an affair with Jodie!” she repeated.
Kian stared at her wondering if she was joking, but the serious look on her face told him that she was far from getting a few laughs in.
“You’re serious!” he stated.
Annie continued looking at him.
“Jesus Christ, do you know what you are accusing me of, here?” he shrieked, still in shock.
Annie nodded and stared at him still, “Yes. I am accusing you of having it off with that slut!”
“Ok, first of all, Jodie is not a slut and secondly I am not having an affair. And thirdly I truly resent you for even having to ask me!” he growled.
“Then why defend her?” she folded her arms challengingly.
“Because she is one of my workers. A bloody good worker, as well.” He shouted, “I cannot believe you, Ninz!”

Kian thougth back on when he had met Helena for the first time. It had been just after his divorce had gone through, he had been out walking and had decided to take a coffee at a small café and it turned out that Helena worked there. Since it was a really slow day Kian had asked Helena to join him for a while. They had ended up talking a lot and Kian had really enjoyed her company and had asked her out which she gladly had accepted. Their first date had been magical at least in Kian´s mind. He had taken her to one of his favourit places in Sligo where he had set up a picnic and they had watched the sunset. After that they had been seeing each other more and more and about 3 month ago Kian had asked Helena to move in with him. She had had her doubts mostly because he was in Westlife and that everything had gone so fast but after they had talked about it over and over again and she had decided that she would give it a try. Kian's thoughts were interupted by Shane who walked into the room and handed Kian a cup of coffee.
