The Band:
Westlife is managed by Louis Walsh and Simon Cowel is the producer. The band started off in 1998 as Westside, but changed their name before the first album release, in November 1999. They are still together, except for Brian, who left the band in march 2004. They release an album every year around November, and go on tour the following year, usually only taking place in UK and Ireland, sometimes Europe.
